Iditarod 2024 Restart. While the 2024 iditarod ceremonial start was fun and all, the race to nome is officially on with the restart sunday in willow. On sunday, march 3, 2024, mushers depart from willow.
Race day is saturday, march 2 and festivities begin at 10 a.m. In downtown anchorage at the corner of 4th and d street.
